The design of the Madeleine Chair was influenced by Brazilian furniture from the mid-century. The backrest was visually inspired by madeleine cakes, bringing back a nostalgic feeling of that era.
The structure of the chair takes advantage of the main characteristics of steel as strength and malleability creating sinuous shapes and visual lightness.
In the seat, traditional materials in Brazilian furniture such as leather, fabric and carved solid wood provide comfort and personality to the Madeleine chair.
